Legendary Weapons in Tears of the Kingdom: A Comprehensive Guide

Welcome to this comprehensive guide on legendary weapons in Tears of the Kingdom. In this article, we will discuss some particularly cool legendary weapons, such as the White Sword of the Sky, the Fierce Deity Sword, the Massive Biggeron Sword, and more. These weapons come from specific quest lines and fun journeys, often tied to other weapons from the Zelda games. Uniquely, these weapons cannot be repaired by OCTA rocks unless you use a clever trick, which we will discuss further. Many of these weapons can be bought from the post statues in the depths, as you unlock them. So, let’s dive into a selection of these awesome weapons, how to get them, and the extra cool details to improve them.

The White Sword of the Sky

The White Sword of the Sky is a 24 damage unfused base sword, much like the Master Sword. It is a great baseline for a weapon, and many of the weapons you will find of this nature will be rusted or broken. This sword is a reward for a questline where you must go to three different places and complete a certain quest at each location. These quests involve the ancient mystical dragons that fly around the map. In this section, we will guide you through each of the three quests required to obtain the White Sword of the Sky.

Quest 1: Spring of Wisdom

First, head to Mount Laneroo, just southeast of the tower. There, you will find the Spring of Wisdom. Speak to the statue there, and it will request you to check on the main statue that this whole questline is about. You can find the main statue inside the Forgotten Temple. Upon returning to the Spring of Wisdom, the statue will request you to help restore it by collecting a claw from the ice dragon. Shoot a claw from the ice dragon, bring it back to the Spring of Wisdom, and place it on the ground in front of the statue to complete this quest.

Quest 2: Spring of Courage

Next, head to the Spring of Courage in the Faron region, at the southern point of the map. Speak to the statue there, which will request the lightning dragon’s claw. Follow the lightning dragon’s path on the map, shoot its claw, and bring it back to the Spring of Courage. Place the claw on the ground in front of the statue to complete this quest.

Quest 3: Spring of Power

Finally, head to the Spring of Power at the northeastern point of the map. Speak to the statue there, which will request the fire dragon’s claw. Follow the fire dragon’s path on the map, shoot its claw, and bring it back to the Spring of Power. Place the claw on the ground in front of the statue to complete this quest. With all three quests completed, you can now go to the main statue in the Forgotten Temple and claim the White Sword of the Sky.

Biggoron Sword

The Biggeron Sword is a 36 damage great sword, with bigger and heavier swings than the White Sword of the Sky. This sword can be bought for 160 pose after you obtain it, making it a very deadly weapon that you can reliably get whenever you want. To obtain the Biggeron Sword, head to Skull Lake and enter the cave in one of the eyes. Defeat all the enemies inside, and the chest containing the sword will open.

Staff of the Elements

The Staff of the Elements is a powerful weapon that can be infused with various elemental effects, such as fire, water, lightning, and frost. To obtain this staff, complete the cave that Susub Shrine is hiding within. Inside the cave, you will find a chest containing the staff. This staff can also be bought from the post statues for 100 pose.

Sea Breeze Boomerang

The Sea Breeze Boomerang is an iconic weapon from Wind Waker, dealing 16 damage unfused. To obtain this boomerang, head to the Hebrew Canyon Mine in the depths and find the chest containing the boomerang. This boomerang can also be bought from the post statues for 100 pose.

Fierce Deity Sword

The Fierce Deity Sword is a 38 damage great sword with a unique effect that slashes wildly in battle. To obtain this sword, complete a questline involving collecting all three pieces of the Fierce Deity set and wearing them inside the Cephala Lake cave. The secret room inside the cave will reveal the sword. This sword can also be bought from the post statues for 160 pose.

Repairing Legendary Weapons

As mentioned earlier, these legendary weapons cannot be repaired by OCTA rocks in normal circumstances. However, there is a trick you can use to repair them. First, attach the weapon to a tree branch or another basic weapon. Then, take the weapon to an OCTA rock in Goron City and have it repaired. After that, go to Tarrytown and separate the infused weapon for 20 rupees. Your legendary weapon will now be restored and ready for use.

We hope this guide has been helpful in your quest to obtain and improve the legendary weapons in Tears of the Kingdom. Good luck, and happy adventuring!
